JOB DESCRIPTION

Organizes and leads youth activities, for ages 6 months -17 years, in designated activity centres, assigned areas and throughout the vessel by performing the essential duties and responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participates in embarkation procedures by disseminating information regarding the Adventure Ocean Program, Youth Evacuation Plan, and directing and escorting guests to staterooms.
  • Determines the activities to initiate based on the ages and the needs of the children assigned to participate in the scheduled activity. Organized and leads a variety of established age-appropriate activities. 
  • Acts as a role model for the youth with regard to leadership, friendliness, diplomacy, honesty, fair play, sportsmanship and open-mindedness. Exercises discretion and good judgment when interacting with the children. Maintains a constant awareness of the children’s whereabouts and their safety. Intervenes when a conflict arises or when a child needs extra attention or assistance in order to enjoy the activities. Responds to any type of emergency 
  • Maintains discipline within assigned group to ensure safety precautions are followed.
  • Communicates with parents in a tactful and courteous manner to generate a high level of comfort. Acts as liaison between the Youth Activities Manager and the parents

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, recreation or related field from an accredited university or college or the international equivalent

The Assistant Electrician 3 is a skilled position on a cruise ship, responsible for supporting the Chief Electrician in the maintenance, repair, and operation of the vessel’s electrical systems. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform advanced electrical maintenance and repairs on complex systems, including high-voltage equipment, generators, and control systems. 
  • Conduct preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule and report any recurring issues to the Chief Electrician. 
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with maritime safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. 
  • Collaborate with other departments and engineering staff to support ship operations and address any electrical needs or challenges.

The Laundry Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of washing machines, dryers, ironing systems, and associated components, including steam and plumbing systems. Assistant Plumber

JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of our amazing Engine Team Assistant Plumbers are part of our behind-the-scenes team who play a vital role in ensuring all of the vessel's potable water, technical water, greywater, and black water systems are fully functioning.  As part of a small but hard-working and FUN plumbing team, you will be working in the guest, crew, and technical areas around the ship no two days are the same in this position!  

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Under the supervision of the Chief Plumber performs maintenance and up-keeping of the vessels potable water, technical water, greywater, and black water systems.
  • Cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of ancillaries components (pumps, ejectors, level switches, etc.) of black water collecting tanks
  • Maintenance and repair of greywater collecting tanks and black water treatment plants ancillaries
  • Responds to any call for intervention from guest and crew areas 
  • Performs on-call duties per the department schedule.  
  • Participated in all safety drills and training
  • Adheres to all environmental procedures and policies
