RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive cloud-native solutions by leveraging AWS services, DevOps principles, and modern software engineering practices. 
• Build and manage robust, scalable infrastructure and serverless architectures using Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and AWS serverless technologies.

SKILLS

• Application development skills with experience in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Go, or Python. 
• A DevOps mindset with practical experience in continuous delivery, GitOps, and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

The Environmental Team is responsible for performing garbage handing operations and are responsible for the upkeep of the Environmental Room and marshalling area daily cleaning operations.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Available to the Environmental Leader for ad-hoc tasks
• Ensuring that all aspects of the company’s environmental policy and procedures applicable to their job tasks are properly carried out including but not limited to the proper labelling of all hazardous material containers including those which may temporarily be used, the proper storage and containment of hazardous chemicals, then proper application of the company's personal protection programme.

• Help with the continuous updating and developing of planned maintenance procedures through experience gained with each type of machine on board for which they are responsible.

Fire Patrol is responsible for all firefighting equipment, ensuring it is properly maintained and in working order at all times, performing patrol/watch duties, inspections of firefighting equipment, and assisting with the training of crew on Fire Safety. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all fire-extinguishing appliances are in accordance with SOLAS regulations, Class Authorities, Flag State Administration, Manufacturer’s recommendations, and all repairs, alterations or modifications are done in accordance with the above-mentioned institutions and also shall be fully conversant with the regulations of the authorities in addition to local authorities.
• Continuously evaluate and prevent potential fire hazards to improve the ship's fire prevention and control standards
• Check atmosphere of enclosed spaces for gas and sufficient oxygen level, prior to entry of any work teams into enclosed spaces. 
• Maintain the portable firefighting equipment on-board the vessel ensuring that all equipment is kept in good working order and available for immediate use.

JR Inventory Controller is responsible for managing the inventory on board, efficiently, and in an organized way to guarantee adequate storage and requisition of engine spare parts on board the ship. JR Inventory Controller works alongside with Maintenance Engineer and reports to Staff CE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring proper storage and labelling of all materials and equipment under his/her control in compliance with the Company’s procedure
•  Ensuring that delivered spare parts are checked against completeness and proper delivery by the team leaders of the engine department
• Assisting the Team Leaders with an inventory of equipment and materials
•  In charge to update the internal database, modify system data according to procurement and maintenance purposes advised by the Chief Engineer or Team leader in charge
