Inventory Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels, and optimizing inventory to meet business demands while minimizing costs. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory records, and implementing inventory control procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure they meet the needs of the business without excess or shortages. Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Analyse inventory data and trends to forecast future inventory needs. Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including documentation of stock movements, adjustments, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management and handling.

REQUIREMENTS

• GRADE 12
• South African passport
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
