JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Motorman assists in carrying out maintenance to Main and Auxiliary Engines, Emergency Diesel Generators, Air Compressors, Lifeboat Engines under the Supervision of the Senior Motorman.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in and supports Engine Team in the carrying out of major maintenance works
- Participates in Water Shuttle operations as Lifeboat Motorman as required.
- Ensure that all aspects of the company’s Occupational Health and Safety procedures are effectively applied during all work.
- Adheres to all Environmental policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- GRADE 12
- Minimum 12 months experience with engine repairs and maintenance
- South African passport
