SENIOR MANAGER- SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
  • Evidence of taking the business vision / programme vision and articulating a delivery rollout plan for C-Suite stakeholders, and collaborating with key programme decision-makers to agree forward planning 
  • Evidence of demonstrating delivery excellence, with examples of managing and implementing disruptive digital transformations / product migrations / Cloud transformation initiatives which have had material business impacts 
  • Evidence of coordinating / managing teams of up to 50 FTEs across either large scale transformative or migration programmes (across Financial Services, Government, Utilities, Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Telecommunication or Media) 
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple workstreams and orchestrate delivery with internal and external vendors in uncertain / challenging environments to bridge the gap between IT and the business

Automation Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in creating effective automation test strategies and plans. 
  • Experience in test automation using at least two proprietary or Open Source tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Tricentis Tosca, or Smart Bear Test Complete 
  • Experience creating or adapting automation frameworks 
  • Familiarity with at least one OOP language (Java, Python, C# etc.) 
  • Creating test scripts within a BDD environment using Cucumber, SpecFlow or similar 
  • Ability to manage and maintain versions of test assets in GIT and other repositories 
  • Experience of working in Agile / DevOps environments 
  • Hands on experience of various test types (manual and automation) such as Functional, API, web and mobility

Pool Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the pools, spas, and water features on board, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong understanding of water chemistry, filtration systems, mechanical systems, and safety protocols. You will work closely with other departments to provide an enjoyable and safe swimming experience for guests, while also adhering to maritime safety regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Regularly monitor and adjust water chemistry levels (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) to ensure the pools and spas are in optimal condition for guest use.
  • Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pool filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and other mechanical equipment to ensure the proper functioning of all systems. 
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to pool systems. This includes the water circulation, heating systems, pumps, filters, and spa jets. 
  • Ensure all pool and spa operations comply with maritime health and safety standards, as well as local and international regulations regarding water quality and sanitation.
  • Interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner, providing information on pool and spa facilities and ensuring their experience is safe and enjoyable.

Assistant Front Desk Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Front Desk Manager continually strives to exceed hospitality industry standards, while ensuring complete guest and team satisfaction. Leading by example and from the front of the house, the Assistant Front Desk Manager assists the Front Desk Manager in being the ship's driving advocate for delivering outstanding Customer Service. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervises a front desk team that excels in delivering industry leading service to our guests. Responsible for motivating, coaching, training, evaluating and tracking development on an individual and team level.
  • Effectively balances operational needs between the Financial and Guest Services Divisions through synergetic communication of guest issues, in order to optimize positive guest comments and ratings of the overall Guest Services operation. 
  • Develops new ways to enhance and enrich the Guest interaction and service, either one on one or over the telephone with Guest Services. Maximizes solutions and minimizes concerns to root causes of Guest issues. 
  • Responds to escalated guest concerns in a considerate, professional and positive manner by showing empathy and listening actively. 
  • Ensures the security and proper management of cash floats issued by the Financial Controller by monitoring the cash transactions at the front desk being able to provide immediate feedback and assess training needs 
  • Maintains current knowledge of all ship’s regular events and special functions by reviewing all available data in order to provide guests with accurate information. Assists on ensuring that all collateral, including core languages, is kept updated and complies with all company brand standards.

Varnisher

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Varnisher on a cruise line is responsible for the maintenance and finishing of wooden surfaces, furniture, and other woodwork aboard the ship. This role involves applying protective coatings, such as varnish, lacquer, and other finishing products, to ensure the wood surfaces remain aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained. The Varnisher works closely with other maintenance crew members and departments to uphold the overall appearance and integrity of the ship's interior and exterior wooden elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position shall work with supervisors and subordinates to understand and comply with the company's environmental policies and be committed to safeguarding the environment.
  • Direct and immediately inform the immediate supervisor if any environmental system does not function properly onboard.
  • Be familiar with Safety including responsibilities in the Safety Organization according to the Emergency Plan and the Station Bill. 
  • Responsible for the varnishing of various items in the crew and guest areas including but not exclusive to railings, wall panels, wood floors and furniture or as instructed by the Hotel Accommodations Maintenance Manager and/or Staff Captain.
  • Keep track of varnishing supplies, including paints, solvents, brushes, and tools, and order replacements as needed.
  • Act promptly when there is a problem or a guest complaint that requires his action during the day.
  • Be able to work alternative shift schedules. In some instances, it may also be necessary to take action on off-duty hours, should he be required to do so.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Plumber on a cruise ship is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing all plumbing systems aboard the vessel. This includes fresh water, drainage, wastewater, sewage, heating, and cooling systems. The role requires a high level of expertise to ensure the ship's plumbing is operational, compliant with maritime regulations, and functioning efficiently to support the comfort and safety of both passengers and crew.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including freshwater, sewage, drainage, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems.
  • Install new plumbing fixtures, pipes, water heaters, and other plumbing systems for new construction projects or during ship refurbishments. 
  • Ensure that freshwater systems provide safe and clean drinking water for passengers and crew, in compliance with health and safety standards. 
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to minimize the risk of breakdowns. 
  • Identify and replace faulty parts, including pumps, seals, faucets, pipes, and valves, ensuring minimal downtime. 
  • Work closely with other ship departments (e.g., engineering, housekeeping, maintenance) to address plumbing needs and ensure smooth operations.

2nd Engineer

 JOB DESCRIPTION

As a 2nd Engineer, you will play a vital part in technical operations and report to the Staff Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer. You will consistently monitor, control, and troubleshoot all engine machinery equipment while being on watch in accordance with our policies, procedures, and safe working practices, promoting a strong safety culture and adhering to all environmental policies and procedures at all times. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring compliance with Engine Room Resource Management standards
  • Maintenance and repair (but not limited to) of the following: bilges and bilges tanks; chemical analysis and treatment of boiler water, cooling water, A/C pre-heating, and re-heating water systems; lifeboats, tender boats, rescue boats, and file rafts winches; Purification system; Lubrication system; Hydraulic system; Electric propulsion motors (where applicable); Boiler and Steam Plant; and HFO, MDO, LO purifier; consumption analysis calculations
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant flag states and classes as well as other applicable regulations
  • Ensure that all machinery assigned are in working order and in compliance with carrying out Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures; ensure maintenance is carried out at due intervals in accordance with planned maintenance and service requirements, and all related logs and records are updated 
  • Compile Monthly Condition Report and update equipment technical cards of machinery assigned to him and his watch subordinate

JOB DESCRIPTION

Galley & Hotel Service Technician are the behind-the-scenes superstars who support the culinary team by ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of all Galley equipment mechanical, electrical and electronic components. You will be part of the amazing Engine Team on board reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager but working closely with the number of the Hotel Managers to ensure all the equipment in the Main Galley, Crew Galley, Services Galley, Pantries and Specialty restaurant Dish and Glass Washers is fully functional and ready to serve our guest needs.  

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preventive maintenance, upkeep and troubleshooting of the following Galley and Main Laundry equipment mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
  • Perform the comprehensive electrical/electronic* and mechanical maintenance (where indicated and trained), repair, routine testing and automation trouble shooting of the above-mentioned equipment.
  • Ensure the inventory of strategic spare parts onboard is sufficient to adequately maintain each machine for which he/she is responsible.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment for which he/she is responsible.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 As a Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Food and Beverage Operations on board, including the galleys, all the restaurants and food outlets, all the bars and nightclub, the storeroom, and our Auxiliary Services department. You will lead a team of managers to ensure that our guests enjoy the best possible food and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the organization, planning, administration, and day-to-day running of the Food & Beverage Operations Department in accordance with company policies, procedures, financial plans, and targets
  • Direct and control the department in such a way that all company service and operational procedures are fully utilized, yet revenue opportunities are maximized
  • Monitor food & beverage supply financial plans with a focus on ensuring expenditures are maintained within set parameters of financial plans both monthly and fiscally. Adjust accordingly to correct if needed
  • Ensure the quality of product and high standards of service is always provided to the guests. Actively monitor the Total Guest Experience Monitor (TGEM) results. Discuss with department leads and formulate strategies to ensure food and service excellence.
  • To be actively involved in the welfare and career of the team members through informal or scheduled meetings, performance reviews, and counselling when needed
  • Ensure fair scheduling and treatment of crewmembers is carried out by all management. Monitor & ensure Fun time records for the department are in due compliance with MLC regulations. Overview and final line approver of department overtime

JOB DESCRIPTION 

This is a Training Program covering all aspects of the Food Operations Department - on successful completion of six months the trainee will be promoted to Assistant Food Operations Manager. To assist the Food Operations Manager in the overall operations of the food production, auxiliary guest services, planning, organizing, and executing assigned tasks.   • Lead & engage with Galley supervisors & galley attendants in objectively driven briefings and training. Consistently track Galley Attendants' progression to promotions and successful completion of tests & training.
  • Conduct new hire & returning crew induction along with the Galley Supervisor. Place specific emphasis on their roles & responsibilities, Carnival Vision Statement Culture Essentials, Carnival Values, Safety, workplace conduct, & Regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor & prepare Funtime records and schedules in due compliance with the MLC regulations as it relates to the Auxiliary and Food Ops management positions
