RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including cabins, public areas, crew areas, and laundry services.
• Manage a multicultural team of room stewards, cleaners, laundry attendants, and supervisors.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest staterooms, corridors, public areas, and crew quarters to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Ensure timely turnaround of staterooms, especially during embarkation and disembarkation.
• Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and linens; manage requisitions and stock control.
• Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff; ensure adherence to service standards and operational procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Laundry Master is responsible for managing the entire onboard laundry operations, including guest laundry, crew uniforms, linen processing, and dry cleaning. This role ensures that high standards of cleanliness, fabric care, and hygiene are maintained in all laundry procedures. The Laundry Master supervises a team of laundry staff and ensures smooth, safe, and efficient operations while complying with maritime and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all aspects of the laundry process, including washing, drying, pressing, folding, and dry cleaning.
• Manage guest laundry and dry-cleaning services to ensure high-quality results and timely delivery.
• Lead, train, and supervise laundry attendants, pressers, and machine operators.
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment (washers, dryers, presses, folders, etc.) for safe and effective use.
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, chemicals, and packaging materials.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the laundry area in compliance with USPH and cruise line standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of linen and uniforms for quality control.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Housekeeping Administrator on a cruise line plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. This position is primarily administrative, focusing on coordination, record-keeping, and support for the housekeeping team, ensuring that passenger and crew accommodations are well-maintained and meet high standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain housekeeping department records, such as cleaning schedules, inspection reports, inventory logs, and maintenance requests.

• Monitor stock levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The physiotherapist is expected to support the medical team with assessment and treatment of crewmembers as per the Doctors’ request and mitigation and prevention of injuries in support to our Safety Officer, Safety team and Staff Captain. To consistently exceed crew expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed in coordination with the shoreside Medical Operations and Risk Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Physiotherapist shall understand the Safety and Quality Management System (SQM) and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
• Provide administrative assistance to onboard team including completion of medical forms/reports.
• Ensure confidentiality of medical information.
• Provide one on one or small group training to new / joining crew in critical departments: Food Service, Food Preparation, Housekeeping, Entertainment. 
• Monitor on-board muscle-skeletal injuries and focus attention (oversight and training) on departments and work functions with heightened injury statistics.
• Maintain current medical records in Sea Care for all crew members that have benefited from physiotherapy assessment and/or treatment. 
• Organize the daily schedule in conjunction with the Sr Doctor including but not limited to appointments for patients, training, safety meetings, shipboard injury mitigation and prevention programs, reporting to shoreside and shipboard team, etc. Each Physiotherapist will serve at scheduled times each day. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

• Assisting in crew safety and personal hygiene orientations
• Supporting food-handling and galley inspections
• Provide emergency care including advanced life support (ALS), intubation, suturing, and stabilization for medical evacuation if needed.
