JOB DESCRIPTION

The Cucina Manager, also known as a Kitchen Manager, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining efficient and safe kitchen practices. This role involves managing kitchen staff, coordinating food production, and ensuring that all kitchen operations align with the restaurant’s standards and goals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food production and service. 
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation during service hours. 
  • Conduct regular inspections of food preparation, storage, and kitchen cleanliness to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 
  • Address guest feedback and concerns related to food quality or service, working to resolve issues promptly and effectively.  
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes, standards, and quality specifications.
REQUIREMENTS
  • GRADE 12
  • South African passport
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
