A Housekeeping Administrator on a cruise line plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. This position is primarily administrative, focusing on coordination, record-keeping, and support for the housekeeping team, ensuring that passenger and crew accommodations are well-maintained and meet high standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain housekeeping department records, such as cleaning schedules, inspection reports, inventory logs, and maintenance requests.
Monitor stock levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
Serve as a liaison between the housekeeping team and other departments such as guest services, maintenance, and laundry.
Log and manage all lost and found items, ensuring secure storage and proper documentation.
Ensure that cleaning checklists and standards are followed.
Assist in monitoring guest feedback and reports related to housekeeping issues.
Ensure housekeeping operations comply with maritime health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Input data and generate operational reports for supervisors and senior management

GRADE 12
South African Passport
Minimum of 2 years' experience with hospitality or cruise line housekeeping operations.
