Youth Security Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a dedicated Youth Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our young guests onboard. This role involves monitoring youth activities, enforcing safety protocols, and fostering a positive environment for children and teens.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise youth areas, activities, and events to ensure safety and compliance with established policies.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures related to youth activities, ensuring a secure environment. 
• Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies involving young guests, providing assistance and ensuring proper procedures are followed. 
• Liaise with parents and guardians regarding safety measures, addressing concerns or inquiries related to youth security. 
• Work closely with youth program staff, counsellors, and other security personnel to create a cohesive and secure environment for young guests. 
• Participate in ongoing training regarding youth safety, emergency procedures, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, concerns, and observations, providing reports to management as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS

• GRADE 12
• South African Passport
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
