Sports Staff

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Sports Staff member on a cruise line, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating a variety of sports and recreational activities for guests of all ages. Your role will involve engaging with guests to enhance their cruise experience through active and enjoyable sports events and activities. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for sports, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and diverse environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement a diverse schedule of sports and recreational activities, including tournaments, fitness classes, and team games.
• Organize and lead activities such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, and other sports events, ensuring they are fun and engaging for guests. 
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of sports facilities and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. 
• Ensure all sports activities are conducted in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety protocols and guidelines. 
• Collect and evaluate guest feedback on sports activities to make improvements and enhance the guest experience. 
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, providing information about activities, and ensuring a positive experience. 

REQUIREMENTS

• GRADE 12
• South African passport
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
