RESPONSIBILITIES
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process employee payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of employee personal and employment details, salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and national regulations related to payroll, taxes and benefits.
- Document Preparation: Prepare and distribute employee pay stubs, W-2 forms, and other related documents.
- Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, providing clear and helpful information.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update payroll processing systems and tools as necessary.
- Report Generation: Generate payroll reports, including tax filings and unemployment insurance reports.
- Tax Submission: Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll taxes and other related payments.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric plus relevant tertiary qualification.
- South African passport
- 2+ years of experience in Payroll Administration.
- Proficiency with payroll processing systems and tools, such as ADP, Workday, or SAP.
- Familiarity with local and national payroll, tax and benefits regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
