JOB DESCRIPTION

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures that assigned areas are clean, orderly, and well-maintained. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, replenishing supplies, and adhering to established standards of cleanliness and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing rooms and common areas.
  • Replenish necessary supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials in guest rooms or assigned areas.
  • Notify the appropriate personnel of any maintenance or repair issues, such as broken fixtures, plumbing problems, or damaged furniture.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas such as corridors, lounges, restrooms, and elevators. 
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
  • GRADE 12
  • South African Passport
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
