JOB DESCRIPTION
The Front Desk position on a cruise ship, often referred to as Guest Services Agent or Receptionist, is a critical role responsible for managing guest interactions and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the voyage. This role involves handling various administrative and customer service tasks to ensure that passengers have a pleasant and seamless experience on board.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes for passengers, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of boarding and departure procedures.
- Provide information to guests about ship amenities, activities, dining options, and itineraries. Assist with inquiries, reservations, and special requests.
- Act as a liaison between guests and other departments (e.g., housekeeping, dining, excursions) to facilitate requests and ensure accurate information flow.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- GRADE 12
- South African Passport
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
