JOB DESCRIPTION

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the food and beverage team to ensure excellent service, efficient operations, and high-quality standards. This role includes managing staff, handling customer inquiries, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and manage the food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Provide training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Address any issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing exceptional service. Monitor and improve service quality.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the food and beverage areas, ensuring smooth service and adherence to established procedures. Manage the flow of service and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
  • Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, and hygiene. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Prepare and present reports on food and beverage operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
  • GRADE 12
  • South African passport
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
