Engen Assistant Fitter

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Engine Assistant Fitter assists in the maintenance, repair, and operation of the ship’s mechanical and engine systems. This role involves working closely with the engineering team to ensure that all machinery functions efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the cruise ship 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the routine maintenance and repair of engines, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
• Help with the overhaul and reconditioning of engine components and machinery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any issues or abnormalities to senior engineers promptly.
• Replace or repair defective parts under the guidance of senior engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

• GRADE 12
• South African passport
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
