JOB DESCRIPTION

The Chef de Partie 2 is responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet high standards. This role involves managing a team within the section, maintaining kitchen operations, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. The Chef de Partie 2 works closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities within your assigned section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and timely preparation of dishes.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of ingredients and finished dishes, ensuring they meet the established standards and specifications.
  • Assist in the creation and development of new menu items, specials, and seasonal dishes, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance the menu offerings.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 12
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • South African Passport
