RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clearing tables: Remove used dishes, silverware, and glasses 
  • Resetting tables: Wipe down tables and reset them with clean linens, glassware, and silverware 
  • Preparing dining areas: Decorate tables with candles, napkins, linens, and flowers 
  • Arranging tableware and condiments: Place tableware and condiments on tables 
  • Refilling beverages: Keep guests' beverages full 
  • Maintaining cleanliness: Sweep floors, wipe down tables and chairs, and stock and maintain side stations 
  • Assisting servers: Help with delivering food and beverages 
  • Qualifications 
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
  • Ability to multi-task well and work under pressure
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler Safety Card
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Other duties 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Provide essential support to servers and kitchen staff 
REQUIREMENTS
  • GRADE 12
  • South African passport
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
