Bartender

JOB DESCRIPTION

 The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, and managing bar operations efficiently. This role involves mixing and serving drinks, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders, answering questions about the menu, and providing recommendations based on preferences.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
• Utilize knowledge of the beverage menu to suggest additional items and premium options, aiming to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and legal regulations related to the service of alcoholic beverages, including checking guest identification to confirm legal drinking age.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• South African passport
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
