JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Bar Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests in various settings, including bars, cocktail lounges, and special events. Your role involves engaging with patrons to recommend and serve drinks, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while supporting the beverage operation throughout the venue.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Suggest, prepare, and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests seated at tables or standing in bars and cocktail lounges.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to ensure a positive guest experience. Address any requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize knowledge of the beverage menu to make recommendations and upsell premium drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.
  • Provide exceptional service during special events, adhering to specific event requirements and ensuring all guests receive prompt and courteous attention.
  • Follow all health, safety, and legal regulations related to the service of alcoholic beverages. Verify guest identification to confirm legal drinking age.
REQUIREMENTS
  • GRADE 12
  • South African passport
  • Minimum of 2 years beverage experience
