FAQs
The timeline from the moment of receiving a "Job Offer" to the actual on-board commencement typically spans approximately 2-3 months. It is important to note that this duration has to be followed in order to board successfully. As such, the timeline given by your agency must be followed.
In most cases Cruise Liners arrange and pay for your travel to/from the ship. If this is not the case, the recruiter will inform you.
Salary – your salary will be in USD and Tax Free, refer to your job offer for payment terms.
Long working hours: Cruise ship operations run 24/7, and you are required to work 7 days a week. According to the MLC, the general standard for maximum hours of work should not exceed 14 hours in any 24-hour period and 72 hours in any seven-day period.
All food, travel, boarding and basic medical expenses are covered while onboard.
