HR Generalist/Coordinator (Land Based)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking an HR Generalist/Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role serves as a point of contact for employees, ensuring a positive workplace culture and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.  

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training for a successful start. 
  • Address employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances in a timely and professional manner, fostering a positive work environment. 
  • Support the performance appraisal process, including tracking deadlines and assisting managers with evaluations. 
  • Assist with employee benefits enrolment and inquiries, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Help coordinate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and career development. 
  • Support various HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys and diversity and inclusion programs. 
REQUIREMENTS
  • GRADE 12
  • Qualification in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience is a luxury establishment
